The government ordered a national emergency in the face of the pandemic, closing the borders until the end of the month and suspending classes at all levels until March 31. In addition, it announced economic measures to help sectors affected by the pandemic, such as companies that had to temporarily shutter their doors, including cinemas, theatres, bars, and restaurants.
